Besides putting the ‘e’ in ‘fake,’ this magic wand looks downright dangerous. And there’s no way I’d want anyone to see me use this. Like, ever.

Future American lawyers protest Attorney General’s speech: “Xeni Jardin:

Snip: ‘Alberto Gonzales spoke before law students at Georgetown today, justifying illegal, unauthorized surveilance of US citizens, but during the course of his speech the students in class did something pretty ballsy and brave. They got up from their seats and turned their backs to him. (…) additional students came into the room, wearing black cowls and carrying a simple banner, written on a sheet.’ Link. Run an Apache web server on your phone…: “Apache‘For quite some time it has been possible to access the Internet using mobile phones, although the role of the phone has strictly been that of a client. Considering that the modern phones have processing power and memory on par with and even exceeding that of webservers when the web was young, there really is no reason anymore why webservers could not reside on mobile phones and why people could not create and maintain their own personal mobile websites.’ [via] Thanks Brian! Impossible NES Quiz, Go Fail!

Impossible NES Quiz, Go Fail!: “Kotaku reader Jerry sent in a link to this challenging pain-in-the-ass of a quiz. He posted a 360/600, I let out a guffaw at the office desk and set out to beat his feeble score.

Then I rang up a 360 of my own. So, uh, Jerry, we’re both really smart, or really sad. Let’s see how the rest of Kotaku does.

Have at it, folks.

Rock Concert I Attended

Rock Concert I Attended: “

If you’re trying to justify this one to yourself, just remember that you’re not spending $22.00 on a t-shirt. What you’re actually doing is investing in a postmodern statement. Uh, yeah. That’s the ticket…

All I know is, I prefer this shirt to 95% of the shirts I’ve seen for sale at the assorted shows I’ve been to. What’s more, I also happen to think that pretty much everything else the gang at A Label makes is just as genius.

Perhaps that’s just me tho… I’ve got a belly full of tapas and beer and I’m pretty easy to please at this point in the evening. So if you don’t like anything they offer I guess you should probably keep that in mind. Or not. *shrug* Whatever’s clever, yo.

J.T.: “I guess this is the literary equivalent of phantom limb syndrome, but now that I’m pretty much convinced that J.T. Leroy never existed, I catch myself regretting never having met him. I think that might mean that he was America’s first idoru, in the fullest Japanese sense, paradoxically manifesting mainly on our oldest mass-media platform, the printed word.”

About AmazonPedia
Allows you to search every Amazon site — US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, and Japan — for books, DVDs, CDs, and games, as well as giving you access to all your Pedia applications at once.

Along with the search results, the widget will tell you about the status of an item — whether you own it, if it’s on your wishlist, or if somebody borrowed it and when it’s due back. And, thanks to the powerful search that combines all of the Pedias into one, you don’t have to switch back and forth between applications anymore when looking for an entry. Searching and buying from Amazon has never been easier.
